Vasco is an environmental scientist from Lima, Peru with nearly a decade of experience specializing in international conservation, environmental policy, natural resource governance, and quantitative data analysis. Vasco holds a PhD in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He has embarked on conservation projects spanning the globe—from the United States and East Africa to the Amazon Rainforest and the high seas, including Antarctica. Currently he works as the Manager for Conservation Internationals High Seas Program.
